The Y has fitness classes specifically designed for older adults. These programs give participants an opportunity to stay physically active or, in some cases, overcome a fear of exercise and begin being physically active for the first time. Active Older Adults programs include water exercise, yoga and stretching classes, strength and aerobic conditioning classes, and walking more. Many of our YMCA locations also offer socialization opportunities, such as parties and guest speakers.
